Best rod for the $ hands down

My first euronymphing rod... but truly an awesome value. The alignment dots are perfect and the 4wt can cast nymph rigs, dry droppers, and small streamers with ease. Performs well above it's price point, super versatile, incredibly happy with this rod.

I haven’t fly fishing for the last 20 years and got into your own nymph thing about 10 years ago. I cannot say enough about how great this rod is great feel good price and it’s a workhorse.. I wish more companies were like Cortland I received excellent customer service from Scott and his guys. This is one of America’s great companies.

I have used it for a couple of weeks out west and it performed better than expected. Good power and plenty of finesse as well.

Very pleased with it.

Good rod. Had iit out trout fishing from a raft. Caught seven rainbow trout from 18 to 23 inches long- all fat and healthy. Plenty of power to play fish but not so stiff to break a 6x tippet by mistake. Nice compromise with enough power to play a fish without taking too long and killing it. No problem casting the lline for which is rated.

This is a great Euro rod for the price, probably the best value out there.

This is my first euro nymphing flyrod. I absolutely love it and it has caught sooo many fish! Love the 3 weight which makes catching any fish more fun; however, this small rod has also landed bigger fish (20 inch brown) without difficulty. Admittedly, I do not have anything to compare to since as above this is my first euro rig but I have been thrilled with this flyrod.
