Ghost Tip
The Tropic Plus Series Ghost Tip is designed for presenting flies just below the surface without spooking wary fish. A 9ft clear intermediate tip is paired with with a highly visible seafoam floating head that is easy to shoot and pick up to recast. Our Tropic Plus Ghost Tip is built for tropic environments and will perform best in temperatures above 70 degrees (F). Our Tropic PVC coating is designed to remain hard, slick and supple in the hottest conditions.
The taper design for our Ghost Tip line was built to excel in both short and long range casting. The extended body and short rear taper allows for more energy to be transferred into your cast for quickly shooting your line. The mid-length front taper turns over a variety of fly sizes without compromising subtle presentations. This line is built in true line size so your rod is never overweighted when carrying a lot of line.
This line is finished in a clear and seafoam color for ultimate stealth out on the flats.
Cleaning your fly line is very important especially when fishing saltwater. Simply pull line off your reel into a clean bucket or tub of freshwater. Put roughly 1oz or more of Cortland’s Line Cleaner solution onto a clean rag or towel. Firmly squeeze the towel with Pro Line Cleaner around the line and slowly pull line through the towel. You should be able to see dirt or discolored streaks on the towel when finished.

A Dream Delivery
In Islamorada, the species we seek on the flats, channel edges and oceanside require us to deliver an accurate cast in a variety of conditions with serious stealth in order to be successful. Incredible fly line, I am very satisfied with it, I have been catching snook and tarpon off the beach, very stealthy, this is an incredibly smooth line and flies trough my guides like a rail gun
