Excellent quality

Excellent quality. I used them on my trip to Idahos Silver Creek. They didnt cut thru my tippet (6x-7x) and they didnt sink my line. Ill buy them again.

Tippet rings are great!

Size / strength

I started using them 6 months ago and still on the first one. I use an 8# mono indicator to tippet. Have used sizes up to 1x and have no problem.

Glad I tried these!

I'd never used tippet rings before, but I'm now a fan. I was rapidly burning through leaders before using them. They definitely help and don't noticeably impact casting.

They work great

Cheaper tippet rings tend to have some sharp edges and the knot breaks off. Cortland's tippet rings are consistent and don't have this issue.

Tippet Rings

Have had many packs and never a problem!

Wrong product

Did not receive tippet rings. I received one snap swivel in a package.

Always in my bag

Definitely a must for me. I utilize tippet rings on most of my trout leader rigs. Butt section of my leader down to tippet ring then add my tippet section. This makes changing your tippet quick and easy.

Tippet rings

One of the few places to have 3mm tippet rings.

Cortland Tippet

I have tried different tippet rings and these are by far the best no burs that cut line, strong and take a beating and preform like new.
As competitor on the USA Womens Worlds Fly Fishing Team I trust nothing else when on the water.

Cortland Tippet Rings

My go-to for tippet rings and rigging. Precise, lightweight and durable. Never let me down. A must have in your pack.

Love the tippet rings. Super strong! Ideal for fishing steamer to small fries.

Tippet rings!

In two words, "tippet rings"; these bad boys are amazing. My favorite use is interupting a clients leader around 3x and re-running 3x, 4x or 5x tippet as needed without installing new leader often. Personally I go to the spring creek and bounce back and forth between flouro and mono from ring down, from nymphs to dries in a quick change. I can also run a tag dropper off a nymph rig or drop shot from a ring as well. Get versatile and efficient!

Affordable/Strong

I use the 1mm for trout and I’ve used the 3mm for LMB and steelhead. Never had any issues, when needed they get the job done.

It makes a difference.

I don’t know if Cortland has these manufactured for them or they just buy them in bulk. But I can tell you haven’t purchased from my local shop, the one in which I work, these are superior. When you’re tired and not onto a steel ring, it shouldn’t break the ring, like the lesser quality junk that is out there. These do make a difference coming from cortland.

I like em

They work

Great product

These rings are strong and most importantly well rounded. The smooth round edges do not wear out the tippet which gets a lot more fish in the net and keeps the nymphs on your rig.

Euro nymphing

Like them much better on the snap swivels. They work great in my Euro rig.

Utter disappointment

Pros:
- they are round
Cons:
- they are thick and bulky
- they are flat, which will cut into and break your tippet
- they advertise internal diameter instead of external, which is a shameless marketing gimmick
- they are overpriced for what they are and given the quality (you can get same ring from Amazon/Alibaba for a fraction of the price)

Description Tippet Rings

Magnificent micro rings, do not cut the thread thanks to rounded internal shape, but it would be much better if they were oval shaped because this way they would not trip so much when passing through the rings of the cane. Very useful in the world of competition, These being very useful to make connections with the line required in the world of competition by the FIPS

Tippett rings

Cortland is the best in Czech Nymphing gear. Unsurpassed lines and tippett!
And rings!

The best

Consistent quality and the smallest size

Tippet Rings

Since having moved to Euro Nymphing & Micro Leader rigs it only made sense to reduce the size of my tippet ring from Rio's 2mm (25lb) to Cortland's 1mm products.

P

Simplify eyesight and rigging

Larger are better, easier to use and won't cut leader under extreme stress

D

Good rings

Good size for tight lining being so small and light. Not bright.

Tippet rings

Another outstanding product by Cortland. I have purchased tippet rings from other companies and a lot of them had a flat edge which would cut smaller diameter tippet. I have not had one issue with Cortland tipper rings.

Solid!!

These tippet rings are great. I prefer Cartland tippet rings compared to others.
