Not every pound test is available in every spool length or color.
80 and 100 Pound test Blue, moss green or bronze. They all are awesome lines. I catch monster fish on the line. Love it.
Smoothest, thinnest and strongest braid, Master Braid is one thing I never have to worry about failing.
If you're not casting your swimbaits or marabou hair jigs with 5 or 8 lb Masterbraid, then you're missing out. In these gin clear waters, you'll generate twice as many bites if you get each cast well away from the boat. Masterbraid allows you to do that & it delivers rock solid hooksets at distance.
As with all of Cortland's products, this braid is just another example of a great quality product. I fish this in saltwater primarily, feels great in the hand, easy to work with and holds up well.
Be it salt or freshwater, I have not found any Cortland product that I would not recommend.
Knew nothing about Cortalnd Master Braid until hearing a firsthand experience at an angler club meeting. Thought I would give it a try and see if what I heard was true. (Strong & Smooth) Pretty much the case. Will be slowing changing all of my reels over to Courtand Master over the coming months.
Fished all day with no fray
I have used many different brands of braid for my spinning reels. I choose the 5lb Blue for smallmouth on Lake Erie. It has worked great with a 8lb flouro leader in super clear water. Clarity as much as 16 ft. Great strength and castability.

Absolutely love Cortland master braid. Spooled up salmon reels with 50lb blue.
With Masterbraid on all my spinning reels I use the different colors to know which line is 8lb, 10lb or 15lb. The 8lb Blue with Cortland Fluorocarbon leader gets it done time and again.
As a fishing guide I've used multiple brands of braid and this is now the only one I’ll trust. Superior to the other brands.

Using the 80# for muskie fishing. Extremely quiet line. Extremely strong! Have tried and tested about 20 brands/lines over the past 40 years and the Cortland Master Braid is by far the best and have been using Master Braid for about seven years now. 80# is on my Revo Toro Rocket, Revo Toro Winch, Revo Toro Beast, and two older "can" style Abu's. Run 30# on my Revo Winch for smaller fish.
Been using the blue master braid for six seasons now guiding about 220 days a year. Hands down the best line from saltwater fish to giant sturgeon of the Columbia River.
