Cortland Streamer Sink Tip 25 is designed to cast large, weighted streamer patterns in deep rivers and lakes. Its oversized design and aggressive 40 ft head load fast-action rods quickly and turn over bulky, air-resistant flies with minimal false casting.
The integrated 25 ft Type 6 tip sinks at 6 inches per second, helping streamers reach the middle to lower water column and maintain depth through heavy currents, deep runs, drop-offs, and larger water. The longer sinking section provides added depth when fishing banks, covering broad currents, or casting from a boat.
A floating running line remains manageable for mending, line pickup, and repositioning casts while wading or fishing from a boat. Tungsten Tip Technology provides fast-sinking performance, while Shooting Technology reduces friction through the guides. The black and sage transition identifies the change between the sinking and floating sections and provides a visual depth reference during the retrieve.
